The ideal candidate has a full life-cycle background in software design, development and programming. Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine application requirements and design
• Plan, design and code applications to match specifications
• Write efficient code that provides optimal functionality
• Formulate efficient database retrieval systems
• Ensure code is error-free, readable, efficient, and logically organized for ease of maintenance
• Research relevant programming technology and techniques when required
• Collaborate with developers to improve coding processes and best practices
• Manage and maintain application code in a code repository
• Develop use cases and test plans for user application testing
• Create system and application documentation for technical library
• Provide weekly status reports
• Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
• Collaborate in cross-functional projects
• Respond quickly to tech support requests from clients

Programmer Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer programming, computer science or related field
• 5+ years of programming experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Extensive experience in various programming languages / tools (C#, .NET, Windows, DevExpress, Web Services)
• HTML, CSS, DevExpress, MVC, Bootstrap, REST API experience preferred
• Visual Studio / Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience preferred
• Extensive experience in various databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, MS SQL, Stored Procedures)
• Excellent relational database management skills
• Professional manner and accountable for work performed and deadlines
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Strong independent work ethic
• Efficient and accurate coder
• Creative problem solver and critical thinker who thrives when presented with a challenge
